Next Project: spreader

We have some great neighbours. One of these awesome neighbours gave us this old manure spreader. It looks pretty rough, but it only needs a little work to be operational. New floor boards, a couple salvaged chain links and it should be good to go. I hooked it up to the pto and it spun well. Also popped the cover off the conveyor belt gear and it seemed to be pretty good. Hopefully we'll have a useable spreader this season!

  1. We put new wood for the floor, lubed everything up and fixed the broken links on the conveyor chain and it works! So far we've spread over 10 tons of manure with it...

I will definitely like to read more from you on "Mulchers". This blog is very helpful for all the person related to this field. Thanks a lot for your post. It is very helpful for me.
